Vienna Woods

National Night Out is always held every year on August 1st. Subdivisions and neighbors will be holding parties all over the valley. We went to the Vienna Woods Subdivision this morning to learn about the plans they were making for their celebration of the event. National Night Out was started several years ago as an effort to show criminals a united effort of neighbors to work together to stop crime.

Vacation

I am actually on vacation all this week. My family and I are visiting my mother Marie and here we are preparing to take a bike ride with her dog Mitzi. My mother made the hat and sunglass combination for her dog who loves to go along on bike rides. My mother rides 2-3 times a week when the weather permits and logs several hundred miles over the course of the year. I will be back on Monday morning July 31st. While I am gone Meteorologists Bob Anthony and Deb Smith will be filling in.
