Capital High School

Needs are greater than they have been for several years and we have a critical shortage of food for families. High Schools in the Southwest Conference are trying to meet the need with a friendly competition of food drives. They need your help to be truly successful. Right now Bishop Kelly and Capital are competing but other High Schools will be joining the effort. If you want to help you can make donations at a High School near you or contact the Salvation Army.

Hillcrest Floral

This is "Good Neighbor Day" where you can get a dozen roses free to give away to others. Hillcrest Floral in the Hillcrest shopping center off Overland and Orchard is participating again in this nationwide event. The idea is you keep one rose for yourself and give the other 11 to 11 other people as a good will effort. This year they are asking you to bring a food donation for the Idaho Foodbank to receive your dozen roses. This is a first come basis until all the roses are gone or until closing time at 5:30 pm
