Fans can vote for more once daily <a href="http://www.voteobrien.org/">here</a>.</p>

<p>Through seven games this season Moore leads college football in pass effieciency (172.5) and has completed more than 68 percent of his passes.  After throwing 5 touchdowns versus Hawaii on Saturday, he now has 21 total for the season, to just 2 interceptions.</p>]]></description>

            <title>Coach Pete, Akey, make Bear Bryant watch list</title>

The award is given by the National Sportscasters and Sports writers every January to who they believe is the nation's best college football coach.</p>

<p>Coach Pete won the award back in 2006 following the Broncos Fiesta Bowl victory and he's been a finalist 2 of the last 3 years.  Finalists for the award will be announced in December.  </p>]]></description>

It's the first time during the 2009 season any Bronco player has been given a weekly honor for the WAC.</p>]]><![CDATA[<p>Brotzman, a Meridian native accounted for 18 points in Boise State's win over Hawaii on Saturday.  Brotz was good on a career high 4 field goals, which is the most by any kicker in the WAC this season, and the 7th most in the FBS this season.  He was solid punting as well connecting on a 72 yard punt early in Saturday's game which is the longest punt by anyone in the conference this season as well.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, Jeron Johnson had a banner weekend as well.  Against Hawaii he had 2 interceptions as well as a fumble recovery.  Two of his turnovers added up to 10 Bronco points.  </p>]]></description>

(AP) -- Colin Kaepernick ran for four touchdowns and threw for two others and Nevada finished with 484 rushing yards in a 70-45 victory over Idaho on Saturday.</p>

<p>Kaepernick had touchdown runs of 11, 61, 35 and 75 yards for the Wolf Pack (4-3, 3-0 Western Athletic) and finished with 238 yards on 15 carries. He had scoring passes of 44 and 9 yards and completed 13 of 21 passes for 178 yards.</p>

<p>Nathan Enderle passed for 342 yards and four touchdowns, including a pair of 73-yard strikes to Maurice Shaw, for Idaho (6-2, 3-1).</p>]]><![CDATA[<p>The Wolf Pack led 28-24 at halftime, but scored 42 second half points, including the first two scores of the second half on long runs by Kaepernick.</p>

<p>Vai Taua rushed for 146 yards and two touchdowns for Nevada, which has the nation's top rushing offense.</p>]]></description>

            <title>Coby Karl makes the NBA&apos;s Cleveland Cavaliers</title>
            <description><![CDATA[<p>Former Boise State and Idaho Stampede Guard Coby Karl is back in the NBA, after making the final roster for the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday.  The 6-foot-5, 205-pound Coby Karl is expected to play both guard positions.  Karl, the son of current Denver coach and former Cavaliers head-man George Karl, was originally a walk-on at Boise State, before starring for the Broncos in his final 2 years.  He appeared in 17 games for the Los Angeles Lakers in 2007-08, and played for the Idaho Stampede last season, before playing overseas.</p>]]></description>

            <title>Former Idaho Coach won&apos;t face assault charges</title>
            <description><![CDATA[<p>Former Idaho Coach, and current Oakland Raiders head-man, Tom Cable <a href="http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4586644">won't face charges</a> after being investigated over allegations that he assaulted one of his assistants.  Napa County district attorney Gary Lieberstein said Thursday that no charges were warranted.  Cable has denied the charges from the beginning.<br />

Safety Shiloh Keo turned himself in Tuesday and was cited for misdemeanor battery before he was released, Moscow Assistant Chief of Police David Duke said.  Keo is due to be arraigned in early November.<br />
He leads the 6-1 Vandals with 64 total tackles, including 38 by himself. He also has three interceptions.<br />
Joni Kirk, a spokeswoman for the UI, said the incident is under review.<br />

            <title>WAC Pre-season Women&apos;s basketball polls</title>
            <description><![CDATA[<p>The Western Athletic Conference has announced its 2009-10 preseason women's basketball coaches and media polls, and the University of Idaho women were picked to finish fourth in both and the Boise State women were 3rd in the polls.</p>

<p>The Vandals received 39 votes in the coaches poll and 114 points in the media poll to give them their highest preseason ranking since their inaugural season in the WAC in 2005-06, when the team was projected third by the media and fourth by the coaches.</p>]]><![CDATA[<p>In addition to the team's preseason ranking, two Idaho players were also honored as preseason all-WAC selections in both polls. Junior post Yinka Olorunnife was a preseason first-team all-WAC selection in the media poll and a second-team selection in the coaches poll. Senior guard/post Derisa Taleni was voted to the all-WAC second team in both polls.</p>

<p>For the Bronco women, Tasha Harris and Jess Thompson were awarded pre-season All-WAC first team honors.<br />
 <br />
The coaches and the media disagreed on the conference favorite. Fresno State earned five first-place votes and 60 points to lead the coaches poll, while Louisiana Tech got 14 of 21 first-place votes and 180 points in the media poll.</p>

<p>LA Tech forward Shanavia Dowdell was voted Preseason Player of the Year by both the coaches and media.</p>

            <title>Beauchemin named ECHL Goaltender of the Week</title>
            <description><![CDATA[<p>2nd year Idaho Steelheads goaltender Rejean Rejean Beauchemin has been named the Reebok Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Week. Beauchemin went 2-0-0 on the week with a goals-against average of 1.50 to earn the nod from the league offices in Princeton, NJ.</p>

<p>The 24-year-old held the Stockton Thunder to one goal Friday and two Saturday night, He stopped a total of 44 shots in the victories  </p>]]><![CDATA[<p>Beauchemin is in his second season with Idaho.  Last season, he won 17 games for the Steelheads and finished sixth in the ECHL in goals-against average.<br />
Idaho is on the road this weekend, playing at Utah on Friday and Saturday night.<br />

            <title>Bronco Men picked 5th and 7th in WAC Pre-season polls</title>

<p>Boise State totaled 23 points in the coaches' poll finishing behind Utah State, Nevada, New Mexico State, Idaho, La Tech and Fresno State.  San Jose State and Hawaii rounded out the rest of the rankings.</p>

<p>Last season the Broncos tied for third in the WAC with an overall record of 19-13 and a conference record of 9-7.</p>

</p>]]><![CDATA[<p>Boise State garnered 145 points in the media poll and finished behind Utah State, Nevada, New Mexico State and Idaho, and ahead of Louisiana Tech, Fresno State, San Jose State and Hawai'i in the coaches poll.</p>

<p>The Broncos opened practice for the 2008-09 season last Friday, with their first exhibition on Tuesday, Nov. 3, against Willamette University and their first regular season game on Friday, Nov. 13, at Montana for a three-game tournament with the other two games scheduled against Loyola Marymount and North Dakota.  Boise State's first home game of the regular season comes against North Texas, Saturday, Nov. 28.  They have 1 exhibition games, November 13th versus LMU.</p>]]></description>

            <description><![CDATA[<p>The Western Athletic Conference announced its weekly honors and University of Idaho defensive end Aaron Lavarias was named the defensive player of the week.  Lavarias made 4 solo tackles, which included 2 sacks and also forced a fumble in the Vandals win over Hawaii, Saturday.</p>

<p>Vandal senior running back DeMaundry Woolridge, who scored 4 touchdowns in Idaho's win was nominated for the weekly award for Offensive player of the week, but that was given to Fresno State running back Ryan Mathews who rushed for 233 yards on 20 carries and a score in the Bulldogs 41-21 victory over San Jose State.</p>]]></description>

            <title>ISU announces 2009 HOF inductees</title>

Also being honored this year will be another former football star, Trevor Bell, volleyball star Angela Roberts, and swimmer, Lincoln Yamashita.  Mick Mickelsen will be honored with the lifetime achievement award. </p>

</p>]]><![CDATA[<p>Allen was a three-time First Team All-Big Sky selection, a two-time All-American, and the 2003 Buck Buchanan Award winner as the I-AA Defensive Player of the Year.  Allen was the defensive rock the saw ISU win 26 games in his four seasons, including the only back-to-back eight win seasons in school history.  <br />

Trevor Bell, Football (1995-97):  Bell played at Idaho State for three seasons, earning First Team All-America honors as a defensive back and return specialist.  Trevor's 17 career interceptions, which came in just 24 starts at safety, is still the ISU record and tied for seventh in Big Sky Conference history.  <br />

Angela Roberts, Volleyball (1993-94):  Roberts becomes the fourth member of the 1994 volleyball team that advanced to the National Invitational Volleyball Tournament to earn induction in the Hall.  Roberts is a two-time Bennion winner as team MVP, and in 1994, she led ISU into the national postseason, earning First Team All-Big Sky honors, Second Team AVCA All-Northwest Region honors.  <br />

Lincoln Yamashita, Swimming (1963-66):  Was a member of Idaho State's swimming team for four years, one of only two student-athletes to letter at ISU for all four years.  Lincoln finished his career with five Big Sky titles, including setting a Big Sky record in the 100-yard breastroke in 1966, and event he won three times.  </p>

<p>Mick Mickelsen, Lifetime Achievement Award:  Mickelsen is being honored in the Lifetime Achievement Category, and he is the seventh recipient of the award.  Mickelsen served for almost 20 years as the team physician for Idaho State athletics, helping in the medical care of literally thousands of Bengal athletes.  </p>]]></description>

            <title>Broncos remain 6th in the Coaches&apos; Poll/Harris... Now 5th in the AP</title>

The Broncos stood pat in the <a href="http://www.harrisinteractive.com/news/bcspoll.asp">Harris Poll,</a> also at #5.  In the Coaches', LSU lost and dropped below the Broncos, but USC jumped up to take the 5th spot ahead of BSU.  In the AP, USC failed to jump over the Broncos, allowing BSU to slide into that #5 spot.  Also in the AP Poll, the newly 5-1 Idaho Vandals received a vote.<br />
