Coach Pete, Akey, make Bear Bryant watch list

Chris Petersen.jpgOn Monday it was announced, Boise State head football coach, Chris Petersen and University of Idaho head coach Robb Akey are two of 20 FBS (Division 1A) coaches who's being considered for the Bear Bryant Coach of the Year Award. The award is given by the National Sportscasters and Sports writers every January to who they believe is the nation's best college football coach.

Coach Pete won the award back in 2006 following the Broncos Fiesta Bowl victory and he's been a finalist 2 of the last 3 years. Finalists for the award will be announced in December.
