It's the first time during the 2009 season any Bronco player has been given a weekly honor for the WAC.

Brotzman, a Meridian native accounted for 18 points in Boise State's win over Hawaii on Saturday. Brotz was good on a career high 4 field goals, which is the most by any kicker in the WAC this season, and the 7th most in the FBS this season. He was solid punting as well connecting on a 72 yard punt early in Saturday's game which is the longest punt by anyone in the conference this season as well.

Meanwhile, Jeron Johnson had a banner weekend as well. Against Hawaii he had 2 interceptions as well as a fumble recovery. Two of his turnovers added up to 10 Bronco points.
