Beauchemin named ECHL Goaltender of the Week

2nd year Idaho Steelheads goaltender Rejean Rejean Beauchemin has been named the Reebok Hockey ECHL Goaltender of the Week. Beauchemin went 2-0-0 on the week with a goals-against average of 1.50 to earn the nod from the league offices in Princeton, NJ.

The 24-year-old held the Stockton Thunder to one goal Friday and two Saturday night, He stopped a total of 44 shots in the victories

Beauchemin is in his second season with Idaho. Last season, he won 17 games for the Steelheads and finished sixth in the ECHL in goals-against average.
Idaho is on the road this weekend, playing at Utah on Friday and Saturday night.
