Idaho safety Shiloh Keo was named the WAC's Defensive player of the week and his teammate, Idaho placekicker, Trey Farquhar was named the conferences Special Teams player of the week.
Keo, a Washington native had 12 solo tackles (15 total) as well as an interception in the Vandals victory Saturday night over Colorado State. The junior's interception came with just over a minute left in the game, when CSU was driving for what could have been a game winning field goal. That play pretty much sealed Idaho's 4th win of the season. Keo's 15 tackles also ties a season high for any WAC player this season.
Idaho's freshman kicker, Trey Farquhar made a 47-yard field goal as well as all of his extra points in the Vandals victory. The 47-yarder came at the end of the first half to cut into the Colorado State lead to just 10 points at the break. The field goal also ties the 2nd longest made by a WAC kicker this season.
