Goodbye Hot Springs?

The U.S. Forest Service says the man-made hot spring pools in Rocky Canyon (between Crouch and Silver Creek) have to be destroyed!
That has many people asking WHY?
You may not know this, but about a dozen tubs were built illegally off of Rocky Canyon about a year ago. A man built them without a permit, and the Forest Service says that's a violation. The man responsible did pay a fine and do community service as a punishment.
On top of the man-made pools being a violation, a spokesman for the Shoshone-Paiute Indian Tribe says the hot springs are sacred, and are being misused by people drinking alcohol, doing drugs and having sex.
But, some of the hot spring supporters/enthusiasts are working to keep the pools intact. They say it's ridiculous to destroy them, and that the public should have a say on what happens to them. The group is looking into getting legal help to stop it.

What do you think?
Should the homemade pools stay or go?
I think that they should stay. Only thing that Forest Service would do is to possibly redo the same thing and then charge us money for it. That would IF they decided to let the public use the hot springs again. This is clearly all about money.
I agree I think that they are mad becasue they can't charge for people to use them. I went there for the first time a few weeks ago before this story broke, it was amazing, it was clean, very little if any trash was left behind. There was all kinds of people, ones with kids, ones without, everyone that came and went was very pleasant and with so many tubs there is room for lots of people and privacy.. Its a shame if they take them down, the man who did this truely has a talent.. and if this was so wrong why didn't they stop him while he was building it..you can't tell me the Forest Service did not see him doing the work it did not go up overnight!! and its been there how long?? Give me a break do they have nothing better to do than to ruin good clean fun for people..
