Jay is Back!

Last night, Jay Leno premiered his new show at 9pm right here on KTVB! It looks like Jay pulled in a pretty good audience for his first show, the early ratings are strong. Jay also had THE ULTIMATE first show guest - Kanye West.
As you have most likely heard by now (unless you've been living in a cave) - Kanye West made quite a spectacle of himself on Sunday night at the MTV Video Music Awards. He rushed the stage and ruined Taylor Swift's acceptance speech! Kanye apologized again last night on Jay's show for stealing Taylor's moment... did you see it? Do you think he was genuine???

Jay took it a step further when he asked Kanye how his mom would feel about what he did. Kanye's mom recently passed away, and he seemed stunned into silence by the question! Jay also had Jerry Seinfeld on the show last night, and HEADLINES... which is always a fan favorite. Tonight, Tom Cruise will be on the show!
So, what did you think of Jay's NEW show? Will you keep watching?
Do you think Jay's show will be a success?
I thought Jay's show was slow moving last night and somewhat awkward. However, I will continue watching it. He's allowed first night awkwardness.
well I have been looking forward to seeing his new show, and I am sure better is yet to come, I cant stand the tonight show now, its too much like the Conan O'brian show,it should be called the Conan O'brian tonight show!!! and I dont have to stay up late to see my fav Jay show...:)
Like it a lot. Now my Wife can watch it too, as she usually was asleep when he did the Tonight Show. Good to see him out in a chair with his guests also. Not "hiding" behind a desk. Haven't really liked his guests so far, but am anticipating a great show tonight!
Wow! I was right. It was a great show! Wife loved it to. Robin Williams was his old self - giving us laughs yet again. Lends me back to being in Marin County and going most anywhere and seeing Robin and interacting with him!! He is such the spontainity that is great wisdom & what a great comedian he is. Oh, and Miley's shot was a good one to!! Great to see Jay is so far "let free" of NBC and is a lot more "free".....
I am very disappointed as I was so much looking forward to see Jay again but what a bad surprise. I think in his first show he was very badly prepared, his hairs looked sloppy etc. Ok he got a lot of experience but hey this is a new show and we could have seen something better and different. It is almost the same than before - so why all this change? Honestly I don't really like Jay in the 10pm show as it is nothing new and it is too early. I prefered it the way it was before. Jay at 11.30pm and later Conan - this was perfect. Conan was fun before now he takes himself as the KING of the Latenight show and I don't like this because the real KING was and still is Jay Leno. I have the feeling they are both now in shows they don't belong. What a waste! From a perfect funnny entertaining chill out program to a new stupid forced program with little interest. Are there really people outside which like the new hours and shows? Honestly? I am still a Jay Leno fan but a kind of disappointed. http://www.europeartimport.com
I think the new Jay Leno show is too crass for primetime. I don't even remember the 11:30 p.m. show being so tasteless and crude. What's going on with Leno? He must have new writes that were promised to be hip and edgy but translates to bad taste and too crude for primetime. I like the new set and the format with the ten questions from a guest celebrity on the fly, but his little comedy skits like the one I saw tonight with Alan Thicke crosses the line of good taste and decency. That's my opinion...is anyone with me on this one?
I looked forward to the NEW Jay Leno show... and was very disappointed... other then a few set designs... it is not new, not fresh, not well written... same old headline... cute but no WOW factor, same sophmoric side skits... even the monologue has lost some punch... I like the new time slot... but won't be tuning in much...
I was hoping for more Vegas quality acts... more original fun... not the redone, overdone slams against President Bush, and Clinton..
did catch a few minutes tonight between innings of the Phillies game... and saw what may be the best interview he has done with Rush Limbaugh... because there were real interchange, real discussion,... some opinions offered... in an interesting respectful interchange... with pretty even audience reponse for Rush and against... followed by a stupid car race...
thanks for listening....

No, I am done. too many commercials and not worth staying awake for
I think what NBC did to Conan placing Leno in prime time is plain WRONG. I believe once you retire from a show is better to go home and watch TV in your living room.
It is not fair for Conan because if you think about it this was not done to Leno when he took over the Tonight show after Carson.
This "new" Leno show is just the same stupid "comedy" he used on the Tonight Show. NBC may as well just change the time and leave the same name on the show. It is practically the same and it does not make laugh at all.
I love Conan and I wish him the best! I believe he is funnier and original in all the things he does.
