TGIF!
Today was a great day on "Today's Morning News"!
First of all - it's Friday, which is always a good start.
Second - the mom and daughter and cat trio (which is so interesting, I've never heard of a cat going on a road trip...) were found safe yesterday! They had been missing since Sunday - and some hunters found them stuck in the snow near Featherville! They lived on a box of cereal they had in the car. It's always wonderful to tell you about happy endings:

Laura and Stephanie Carlson, with the box of cereal they lived on!
And third...
"News to Me" by Nick McMullin
Fridays mean it's time once again for "NEWS TO ME" - our camera man Nick McMullin's cartoon take on the news. This week it's "Idaho Doug" (like "Indiana Jones", but not) on his quest for a GOLDEN EMMY AWARD.
Looks like he found it!
