BOISE - Students in the two largest school districts in the state will have the opportunity today to get the H1N1 vaccine.
If you want the vaccine for your student there's some important information you should know.
The vaccines will start with elementary kids and work up to high school students.
The two school districts that will receive the vaccinations first are boise and meridian.
Today central district health personnel will be working with teams of school nurses to give students the vaccine.
The first shipment of the vaccine came in the form of nasal spray which the health department says is a good match for children.
Strike teams and school nurses will travel from school-to-school giving the vaccine.
It's important to send your student to school with a consent form already filled out.
Because the c-d-h-d will be busy at the schools, this week the immunizations clinic in boise will be closed, they will reopen the 26th of october.
