A cab driver hit and killed a horse that got out of its pasture.
It happened around six this morning at Eagle and Victory.

Ada County Sheriff's Deputies say a cabbie was on her way to pick someone up, it was dark, she didn't see the horse and hit it.

The horse died on the scene.
Deputies say someone was boarding the horse for the owners.
