Voluntary evacuation for town near Idaho wildfire
Fire crews are battling a 13-hundred acre wildfire tonight south of Twin Falls.
A voluntary evacuation is in progress for the town of Rogerson.
A BLM spokesperson says the Shoshone Basin fire sparked Monday afternoon around 3 p.m. in the south hills.
BLM crews, along with three rural departments are still working to knock down the fire.
Air tankers were used earlier in the day.
Right now, no structures are threatened and fire crews are hoping the cool overnight temperatures will help in the firefighting efforts.
There is reduced visibility on US 93 at milepost 17, and drivers are urged to use an alternate route.

Two robberies, two suspects, two arrests
Two robberies, two suspects, two arrests.
Boise Police say a man with a backpack told a convenience store clerk he had a bomb and demanded money.
It happened on Sunday at a store near the corner of 27th and Main just before 8pm.
A witness called in a description of the robber. A short time later police arrested 19-year-old Bradley J. Munroe of Melba.
He did not have a bomb.
In the second case, a convenience store customer was able to subdue a man with a knife who tried to hold up a store at Five Mile and Fairview on Sunday at 6am.
The customer and the clerk then knocked the knife away and held the suspect until police got there.
They arrested 22-year-old Christopher Anderson of Boise.

Fire overnight burns child care center
Late last night - there was a fire at a child care center on McMillan road and Shamrock Avenue.
Boise fire fighters were called to the Guardian Angels Academy around 11:30pm last night.
Firefighters didn't go in the building when they arrived because the roof was collapsing, crews stayed back with hoses.
The fire completely destroyed the roof and now the issue today is where those children will go.
Fire crews are investigating the cause.

Fire in Mt. Home Juvenile Detention Facility
Fire crews were called to report of smoke in a Mountain Home juvenile detention facility around 5am.
It happened at Three Springs Idaho located at 2850 Industrial Way in Mountain Home.
Elmore County Dispatch tells us that the fire and smoke was contained to one room, while the kids there moved to the cafeteria.
They also tell us that the sprinkler system put out any fire before firefighters arrived.
Fire crews then mopped up the water.

Car wash fire on Overland near Latah
In your overnight news..
Fire badly damaged a Boise business.
The fire broke out at The Bench Car Wash around 3am Wednesday morning.
The car wash is located on Overland near Latah in Boise.
Fire engines have been on scene for a few hours since the fire broke out the owner of the car wash says he is insured and has owned since May of 2007.
Fire fighters tell us they originally were responding to a smoke alarm at the business.
When crews arrived they found very heavy flames showing in the roof area.
There were flames on the inside that began to spread. That's when crews called in for more back up.
Boise fire says they called in a second alarm.
Fire fighters say it took them about 30 minutes to get the fire under control.
There were five engines two ladder trucks at the scene along with a numerous fire fighters
There is a vehicle inside the building we've been told.
No one was at the car wash when the fire started.
Fire investigators have been called out to determine the cause of the fire and one road had to be closed down.
Fire investigators could take a number of days to determine the cause because of the damage.

Toxic spill in Owyhee County on Highway 78
We have some developing news for you out of Owyhee county Near the Elmore county line.
Owyhee County Dispatch says Highway 78 west of Grandview is closed following a toxic chemical incident.
A semi truck rolled over between mile posts 56 and 58 this morning.
Hazmat teams are on site, trying to determine how best to deal with the situation.
It is unknown at this time if any chemical has spilled.

Downtown Ketchum Fire
Three businesses on Main Street in Ketchum are burned down after a fire started overnight.
Residents tell us Whiskey Jaques, Dirty Little Roddy's, and the Sawtooth Club are all damaged.
The first call of the fire came in at 3:09am
A Ketchum City Spokesperson Kim Rogers says 75 fire fighters are on scene and 20 fire trucks have been dispatched.
Rogers says no one is hurt and no other structures threatened.
She also tells us there is no cause yet, State Fire Marshal from Idaho Falls on his way to investigate.
Firefighters and Police on are on scene from Ketchum, Hailey, Sun Valley, Hailey, Wood River and the County. Also, Idaho Power, Intermountain Gas and ITD.

Deadly shooting near Parma, Idaho
Idaho State Police and the Payette County Sheriff's Office are investigating a deadly shooting that happened this morning.
It happened after 6am on the 2400 block of 1st Lane East near Parma.
Canyon County Dispatch tell us that officials are attempting to locate three hispanic males involved in the deadly shooting.
They say one man is armed with a shotgun.

Three teens taken to hospital following rollover accident
Three teenaged boys were taken to the hospital following a rollover accident in Parma overnight Monday.
It happened just before 1:30 a.m. on Apple Valley Road and Klar.
The Canyon County Sheriff's Office tells us that an 18-year old boy lost control and rolled his vehicle twice.
Two other boys, ages 18 and 14, were in the car when the accident happened.
Deputies tell Newschannel 7 that it appears alcohol was a factor and nobody was wearing seatbelts.

Injury accident on Highway 44
An injury crash happened just before 7:30am on highway 44 and blessinger road, between Middleton and Star.
Canyon County Dispatch tells us two cars were involved and witnesses have told them it was a head on collision followed by a rollover.
Idaho State Police report all lanes of traffic are blocked and lifeflight has been cancelled.

Head-on accident on Connector kills one
A woman is dead after going the wrong way on the Connector, she crashed head-on into a pickup truck .
It happened just outside our station near the I-184 Curtis exit after midnight.
Police have identified the woman as a 43-year-old from Boise.
Officers say she was driving westbound in a white Oldsmobile sedan heading east in the westbound lane.
Police say she was driving the wrong way.
Her car side-swiped another sedan and then collided head on with a black pick-up heading the other direction.
The black pick-up was being driven by a 43-year-old man.
Police had to extricate the woman and then transported her to a nearby hospital were she died more than two hours later.
The man driving the black pick-up is being treated at a hospital as well. Officers say he does not have any serious injuries and he was wearing a seat belt.
Traffic in the westbound lanes was diverted on to Chinden for about two hours while police investigated.
Police say alcohol was a factor in the crash and say the woman was not wearing a seat belt.
Officers report the driver of the other sedan was not injured.
The Ada County Coroner will release the woman's identity later today after her family has been notified.
