Flames reaching 30 feet burn scrap lumber overnight

Kuna fire crews are still on scene of a scrap lumber fire that started before 2a.m. It happened near Locust Grove and Columbia.

Firefighters say when they arrived on scene they saw 30ft. flames.
One house was threatened but fire crews were able to establish a fireline before it could spread.

Firefighters say they had to use water from a canal to put out the flames.
They are still pumping water here right now to put out hot spots and flare ups.

No one was hurt and the fire is still under investigation.
Fire crews expect to stay on scene for a few hours.
