Possible drowning in C.J. Strike Reservoir

At 9 this morning, a dive team is expected to resume the search for a 13-year-old boy believed to have drowned in C.J. Strike Reservoir.
A Caldwell man and his grandchildren were camping and fishing at Black Sands Resort Wednesday afternoon when a 6-year-old boy went into the water, and his 13-year-old brother went in after him.
The 6-year-old was pulled out of the water and treated for hypothermia in Mountain Home.
Owyhee County Sheriff Gary Aman says that boy was riding his bike on a dock when he fell into the water.
His 13-year-old brother jumped in to help, and his uncle followed. Aman says the water took the 13-year-old under.
"The uncle was still up at the camp and he heard the screaming and he went up there, so it was probably two minutes before he got there," Aman said.
A search boat was put into the water to look for the teen.
The effort to find him is now being called a recovery operation.
Because of fast water, strong winds and poor visibility Wednesday night, divers decided it was too dangerous to go in at the time.
They are expected to go in today.
